As an agent who's an expert in this local area, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling real estate here. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information. I am eager to serve you. Here are some of the things I can do for you:

Find Your Next Home You need someone who knows this area inside and out! I can work with you to find the right home at the right price for you, including all the neighborhood amenities that matter - not to mention the essential criteria you have for your ideal home

Sell a Home When it's time to move, you need someone who will advertise your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I can take care of everything you need, from start to close.

Consult on Home Selling Tactics Oftentimes buyers don't visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience - which can help you get top dollar. Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that's sold fast.

Debra Harris is the Vice President of Business Services at Royal LePage Real Estate Services, Ltd. People often ask me, "What exactly do you do?" "When my family immigrated to Calgary we, like so many people here, fell in love with the city right away. We moved into our first home in Coach Hill (SW Calgary) and I grew up in the West Hills area; this is where my roots are in Calgary. Though I started my career in the high-tech industry, I switched to real estate in 2005 and never looked back. Being a real estate professional is a deeply rewarding career and I like the challenges that come with the job. I enjoy getting to know my clients and am happy to say that many of them have become lifelong friends. Whether it's a couple purchasing their first home or an oil executive moving into his dream house, all of my clients get my utmost dedication and professional expertise. It's always an honour to be part of such an important milestone and joyful time."

Justin Havre grew his business rapidly at an independent brokerage, to the point where he decided to form a team. After reaching the top at that brokerage, Justin knew it was time to move on to new challenges backed by the world's most powerful real estate brand: RE/MAX.

Richard was undeterred by the enormous obstacles and in just 3 years, he successfully ranked among the top 1% of all REALTORS® in his marketplace and grew a powerhouse brokerage that captured 12% market share. Richard’s extraordinary leadership and innate ability to inspire peak performance in his fellow agents, also led his successful brokerage of only 20 agents to achieve the “highest production per agent” of any brokerage within its trading area. What we learned - When you DREAM BIG anything is possible to achieve a great Business and a great Life. In one year and in one of the toughest markets and economies, Scott Hurren grew his company from one location to 5 in Canada and the USA, with a Team of engaging, smart and supportive professionals. Growth is possible and it starts with a story, which then creates the idea to achieve the dream. They are a loyal, supportive and fun company to work with.

Meet Scott Hurren, Founder of OTBxAIR. This is his story.

"Awhile back, over a family lunch, we were introduced to aerial drone technology by a young inspiring 15 year old. He was super excited about the technology. The problem was, he didn’t have enough money to make it happen. What he did have however was the inspiration to recover the cost by providing photography services for people. This got us thinking. How many passionate photographers are out there who would love to pursue their passion but need a little help getting steady work that is fun & rewarding?

When we started to dig a little closer into how commercial photography and videography was being done, it became apparent that there was opportunity. Opportunity for us to help make life easier for photographers and videographers while bringing enhanced value to our clients by streamlining the booking, delivery and communication process for the end client. With a passion for photography and a love of the creative, we set a business plan in action to bridge this gap and help bring something new and innovative to the world. We keep our business simple and follow key outside the box (OTBx) principles. We believe that business should be fun, simple, scalable and rewarding for everyone it touches. We stand committed to safety, innovation, creativity and contribution. We are excited to help people live into their passion and bring the world incredible footage. It’s a spectacular place. Welcome to OTBx Air."

What we learned - There is always more work to be done, to bring our Canadian Real Estate Industry and Experiences of Value to the next level. To enhance and elevate our Real Estate Professions and Reputations - we want more! It took great determination, tremendous perseverance and continuous advocacy to make TRESA and PREC happen. And although we know it was a collaborative and collective effort by many key representatives and voices at the OREA Association Level, some leaders names just come up each time. When we first heard Karen Cox speak at the recent Reality Event in Niagara Falls in 2020, we knew, we had a chance to make our dream of Personal Real Estate Corporations ( PREC ) come true.

Karen Cox is the Past President of the Ontario Real Estate Association ( OREA ), where she represents 80,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the 38 real estate boards throughout Ontario. As President, she played an important role to raise the bar on professional standards, advocate on behalf of struggling, aspiring home owners, and increase housing supply and affordability across the province. OREA has spent more than 9 decades promoting higher standards in real estate for the benefit of consumers and Realtors alike. OREA supports Ontario REALTORS® as they help home buyers build stronger communities.

Karen Cox also played an integral role in one of the most significant and long over-due laws ever passed affecting Real Estate Salespeople in Ontario. Royal Assent was received in March of 2020, and the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2020 ( TRESA ) replaced the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act ( REBBA ). This new legislation allows Real Estate Salespeople to incorporate and receive remuneration through their Personal Real Estate Corporations ( PREC ). The great thing, TRESA now holds Real Estate Professionals to a much higher standard than ever.

In 2010 and 2015, Karen was elected to the position of President of the REALTORS® Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound (RAGBOS).
